Dr. Dale Rosengarten will present “Georgetown’s Jews: From First Families to Front Street.”

Dr. Rosengarten is the founding director of the Jewish Heritage Collection at the College of Charleston Library.   Dr. Rosengarten has also worked with the McKissick Museum at the University of South Carolina to develop a traveling exhibition,  A Portion of the People: Three Hundred Years of Southern Jewish Live (2002-2003) and co-edited a book by the same name.

The lectures are free but an RSVP is required.  Bag lunches will be provided by Kudzu Bakery and will be available the day of the event for $7.50 with prior reservation by calling the Kaminski House Museum @ 843.546.7706.
