An Evening with Kevin Jayroe will complete the 2014 concert series. Kevin is a local favorite, who will perform an array of Broadway hits, movie classics and contemporary songs accompanied by the band, After Five. Kevin and the band are crowd pleasers and you will not want to miss out on a single note. The concert is set for the lawn of the Kaminski House Museum on Saturday, October 11, 5 pm.
It would not feel like the 4th of July without the Indigo Choral Society’s concert on the lawn of the Kaminski House Museum. This year will be the 18th annual Indigo Choral Society July 4th Concert on the lawn at the Kaminski House Museum. The program will open with a presentation of colors followed by a rendition of the National Anthem. The concert will include Americana, Carolina-themed song and a salute to our Armed Forces. So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to celebrate with the Indigo Choral Society on Friday, July 4, 7:00 p.m.
Trained dancers from the Mitney Project’s In Step Dance Studio Troupe will perform on the lawn of the Kaminski House Museum on Sunday, June 22, 4 p.m. “This concert will be an opportunity for our young dancers to gain experience performing before an audience,” commented Project Director Leslie Demetri. “Our dancers are very excited about this performance.”
The Mitney Project is a non-profit organization that provides educational and cultural enrichment opportunities to underserved youth in the Georgetown community. The In Step Dance Studio is comprised of students from studio classes who train for public performances.
